Thank you for visiting my website. Creative campaigns, messaging, graphic design, and the emergence social media drew me into the world of marketing and public relations when I was an ambitious and bright-eyed business major. Fast forward to the present day. I’m a thoughtful communications professional with keen insight into higher education, specifically Advancement/Alumni Relations and Student Life. 

I’ve utilized my strategic communications expertise to raise thousands of dollars to support students and engage audiences at scale (200,000+ individuals).

My current role in the Office of Government and Community Relations at George Mason University marries my lifelong interest in government and politics with higher education. 

Over the course of my career, I’ve developed a multifaceted skill set inclusive of email marketing, social media management and content creation, website management, SEO, feature writing, media relations, layout and graphic design, video production, and event planning and execution.

Outside of work, I love to discuss HBCU culture, pop culture, political and media discourse, African American history and culture, and all things related to Beyonce.
